Latest Comic Guest Announcement - Marcus To

 

Artist: New Warriors, Red Robin, Huntress, Fathom

HIRED by Aspen MLT after presenting his portfolio at a convention, Marcus To worked for the late artist Michael Turner's label from 2007 to 2010. The Canadian artist produced covers and illustrated a variety of series, prime among them Fathom: Cannon Hawke and Soulfire while also being a regular contributor to Heroes – Top Cow's webcomic tie-in with the TV series of the same name – before being approached by DC. Initially assigned to Red Robin, To worked on that series almost solidly for close to two years before moving on to 2011's Huntress six-parter which he followed by pencilling a short 2012 run on Batwing. He spent most of 2013 producing covers and fill-ins before illustrating the four-issue Hacktivist for BOOM!'s Archaia imprint at the beginning of 2014. From there he moved on to Marvel for which he'd drawn a handful of Black Panther issues in 2007. This time round he relaunched New Warriors, becoming and continuing as the series' semi-regular penciller while also making occasional contributions to Sensation Comics featuring Wonder Woman, The Flash: Season Zero and other such DC titles.
