cmwheels
As this is a paid talk on the enterprise stage, is it part of the Admiral package 'All paid talks', or would it have to be purchased separately?
Raylenth
If it's a paid talk, therefore included in 'all paid talks' Usually if something is excluded from the packages they will say it when the item is announced. cmwheels
Good to know Will the package page be updated? Would be good to have the confirmation so people don't purchase unnecessarily or miss out
Raylenth
Do you mean the list of what is included in the packages? They won't update it to include individual talks or photo shoots as that is covered by the phrasing of each packages details - in the case of the Admirals package, as stated earlier it's pretty clear when it says 'all paid talks'. As I said if anything is excluded it will say in the details when it's announced. If it's for the lower packages where they don't have everything included then once announcements have been made at some point after they will post which guest is included in which package and group, then people can buy any other tickets they want. MLP*
Would love to see Shatner's World but it looks like the last train out of Birmingham for me would be 9:15pm so with a 7pm start time I think it might not be possible.
cmwheels
Thanks for making that so clear :)
cmwheels
I asked because I paid for a TOS bridge-shoot ticket only to find the package list then updated to include it and so got the surplus ticket refunded. So,this is good to know :)
trekkiefan
Looking at the wording of this event, it seems separate as it's not officially part of the Con. But I'm hoping it will be clarified
Raylenth
I certainly know it can be stressful when things get announced and you aren't sure, I was the same way with the last lot of Sherlocked announcements, trying to work out if I was covered or not! With the VIP ticket you are probably going to get most things included (Please note I'm not in anyway involved so I'm only stressing how I see it, what I'm saying isn't certain or official) but that's one of the main points of the VIP ticket. Having had a quick look at the list of inclusions again I'm not sure if the specialty shoots are included, the actors on the various bridges with you and any group shots. Those you may have to purchase separately if you want them.
Queen_Sindel
I asked because I paid for a TOS bridge-shoot ticket only to find the package list then updated to include it and so got the surplus ticket refunded. So,this is good to know :) That was because at that point the mentioned prop/set shoot had not been determined yet. A rare exception.
cmwheels
Absolutely. Have emailed SM to ask for definite clarification. Hopefully they will respond sooner rather than later;)
Queen_Sindel
I have also enquired about Shatner's World and it is not included in any tickets. This is not a talk, it's a separate night time show and not part of the DST event. That means not covered, sorry.
cmwheels
Not part of DSTE?? Why is it posted on the website under the news / events section as Shatners World coming to DSTE'? The Friday timetable listed as finishing at 20.00. Can anyone confirm when Shatners World is due to start? Is that happening simultaneous to the Friday opening ceremony or party? If so, people obviously have to make a choice. If no clash exists, great, but it is unhelpful of SM not to make this clear,to say the least. Clarification SM,please. Queen_Sindel
There is often "sponsored guests" or events coming to shows that are not considered covered by the event, it is really not that unheard of. It's outside of office hours now and I did text someone from the office privately to get this info because I thought it would be important. I have texted again, but it is highly possible that a reply will only follow once someone is back in the office tomorrow, unless Jason or Mark happen to come on tonight. The opening ceremony is on Friday while Shatner's World is happening on Saturday. So no clash with the opening session. Different days. EDIT of Edit and thus CONFIRMED UPDATE: There's no clash between Shatner's World and the Party. I have been told the times were in the e-mail that went out, but unfortunately got missed on the website. They will be added shortly. Shatner's World 7 PM with the party starting at 8.30 PM. ade
Looking on the web 'Shatner's World' show lasts about 100 mins. Depending on start time is it likely to end approx. 8:40pm to 9:00pm? I only ask because we are wondering whether to also buy tickets for Quarks Theme Party and Disco on the same night. Does anyone have any idea what time the party is likely to go on until? Well that answers most of my question. Just seen your edit above. Thanks Does anyone have any idea what time Quarks Theme Party and Disco is likely to go on until? redjohn
Does anyone have any idea what time Quarks Theme Party and Disco is likely to go on until? well i've seen the "RAT PACK" show created by Max Grodenchik, twice now its about a 30 min live comedy, music stetch very enertaining-well worth a watch. Quarks bar if anything like the usa ones will be a prop area with a near by bar selling themed drinks, usally coloured beers, wines(hopefully cocktails too) and snack food. only guessing here but say casino & drinks 8.30pm till about 9.30pm then RAT PACK show, then disco (& maybe casino )10pm till late (but normally people drift off and do their own stuff about an hour after live entertainment finishs)
DocSputnik
I would like to attend the Shatner's World event only. This thread seems to indicate that it is a seperate concern to Destination Star Trek. Therefore, can I assume that I will not need to buy a DST entry ticket ONLY a Shatner's World ticket?
Raylenth
As it's being held inside the venue I'd think that yes, you would need an entry ticket, but it might be best to email them to double check. Edited July 7, 2016 by Raylenth

Queen_Sindel
anyone know if the tiers are first come for seating, so if you are tier 6 you pick any free seats in that tier on the day? That's how it has always been done. I am not aware of a change to numbered seating this time.
khitomer1
Could we get a clarification from SM? My wife is interested in seeing Shatner's World but is not going to the rest of DSTE, ie not buying a ticket. Is it possible to buy a ticket for this event only without needing a Con ticket? Also if they talk about tiered seating then surely this must be being held in the Genting Arena as there is no tiered seating in the NEC halls (that I'm aware of)? Queen_Sindel
EDIT: And as if by Magic... Entry tickets for Destination Star Trek are not required if you wish to buy a ticket for Shatner's World. MLP*
Shatner's World Show Tier 6 tickets showing as sold out. Will there be more added or do we have to go for the more expensive tickets instead ?
