Yeah, I bought my gold pass on October 1st. I can't remember if all of the passes were released on the same day though. I think I'll wait a while before booking travel and hotel though. I noticed they moved the LFCC Winter dates, which must be annoying for a lot of people who have already paid and booked time off work etc... ladySnow Posted November 4, 2015 Share Posted November 4, 2015 Basically if the diamond person is on the vq system you would have to get a vq ticket, like you normally would if you didn't have gold. Also you have to wait until your number is called like normal as gold privileges don't apply to diamonds. That's what happened this year at least. If all Diamond Pass holders have been seen a Diamond guest may go into "open session" where non Diamond Pass holders will get seen. If that happens Virtual Queue numbers will be called. Gold Pass priviledges do not apply of "just join the back of the line" do not apply. Every non Diamond Pass holder who wants to see a Diamond Guest needs a VQ ticket. It is very, very unlikely that a Diamond Guest will ever go open queue. Christopher Lloyd and Robert Englund for example barely made it through all Diamond Passes because they sign so slowly.
