Advice needed from comic collectors

I have recently purchased some old Beano comics from the 40s and 50s and want to keep them in good condition. What's the best way of storing them? I was thinking of polyester comic bags but Franks Autographs don't do them.

I'd imagine it's the same way as with auto's - anything Acid free and keep them out of the sun. If you are storing them make sure it's not somewhere that can experience big temperature fluctuations, like a loft as that might damage them. Or if you do keep them in the loft I'd recommend using some of those desiccant pouches to try and keep them from getting damp.

I've used Ultra Pro single pages for both my auto's and comics, and then they go in a folder and the comics do fit in them ok.

Having a quick look on the Franks site though, they do have items for comic storage so you could just use them? - http://www.franksautographs.com/COMICS---MAGAZINES-STORAGE.html
