Both HBK and The Deadman are taking time off post WrestleMania. Although plans are changing on a daily basis, it seems like the current Mania plan is:

Chris Jericho defending against Edge for the World Title.

Triple H or Sheamus defending against Sheamus or Triple H (this was set up on Raw this past Monday following the attack on Trips by the Evil Ronald McDonald) for the WWE Title.

Batista vs John Cena - this may well have Vince and Bret as corner men. It all depends on Bret's genuine health and whether he can do a match.

Bret Hart vs Vince McMahon - health permitting, this will happen. If not permitting, they will more than likely be in the corners of Cena and Batista.

Straight Edge Society vs Show-Miz vs MVP & Mark Henry - this all depends on whether Vince has forgiven CM Punk for his Suitgate incident on tour. If he has, he may stick Punk in the MITB Match and have him Threepeat for the immense heat he would get.

Money In The Bank - there are so many possible outcomes here. I look for Christian, Kofi or Big Zeke to win this if CM Punk isn't in it.

Randy Orton vs Ted DiBiase. Who is Face and Heel here depends on the upcoming weeks. Randy is getting more and more face pops.

The WWE Elimination Chamber PPV was excellent. A cracking opening Chamber match with multiple set ups for Mania. A beautiful twist with Batista that puts a new slant on the obvious WrestleMania match between Cena and Batista. Loving Batista as a Heel...he seems to thrive playing that role.

Great continuation and building of storylines. Character building for Drew McIntyre with his IC Title victory. The Divas/Women's division continues to grow (about time). The Show-Miz vs MVP & Mark Henry feud continues to grow.

The final Chamber match, and what a great one. Only one winner here, and I am glad Jericho got it. A good shot in the arm for him, and Edge may not definitely go over at Mania.

HBK coming in at the end was superbly done. Standing over the Undertaker. Top class PPV.

Now, this screws up Mania!!

My predictions:

Bret Hart vs Vince McMahon - Street Fight

Edge vs Jericho (World Title)

Batista vs John Cena (WWE Title)

Unified Tag Team Title Match - Show-Miz vs MVP & Mark Henry vs Straight Edge Society

US Title Match - The Miz vs MVP (Possible Double Duty to build both up even more)

IC Title Match - Drew McIntyre vs Kane/Morrison/R Truth

Triple H vs Sheamus

HBK vs The Undertaker - This should headline as no one wants to follow them after last year.

No Money In The Bank Match - this will apparently headline a new PPV in the build up to SummerSlam, possibly having it where the title match is at SummerSlam. Kind of like the Rumble for WrestleMania. I think this would be a great idea as TNA do the Feast Or Fired format. Makes the MITB PPV something like the Rumble. The earlier matches in the PPV qualify for the main event.

Almost forgotm the Undertaker was well pissed at the Pyro guys last night. They screwed up big time and he was engulfed in flames. His coat was on fire, and the commentators either covered this or didn't realise by saying that he was ina bad mood and not wasting anytime. They noted he ripped his jacket off. The referees were passing him water off camera when he was in the Pod to pour on his arm.

When he got backstage he went off on one. When passing the Pyro area he looked at them and shouted some very threatening comments.

The WWE just announced on Twitter that MITB Qualifying Matches start tonight on RAW.

But why have a PPV in several months valled MITB?

Also, a Triple Threat Match should happen at WM XXVI between all members of Legacy with their Fathers in their respective corners.

The only thing I could think of is that they have MITB but not a normal ladder match?

Perhaps just stretch the stipulation to a different type of match for the main event or something?

The whole proposed concept of the MITB PPV was to have Qualifying matches during the PPV, with the Main Event being the MITB Match.

That will probably change name now. MITB is part of WrestleMania. Simple as.

Just watched some clips from NXT, and it looks excellent.

Daniel Bryan (aka The American Dragon Brian Danielson) vs Chris Jerichop was an awesome match.

The Miz is showing people what he truly is, an ex-reality show contestant who has learned a handful of wrestling moves and uses his mouth. I am confident that The Miz is going nowhere fast and in two years will be like The Big Show - a joke.

Daniel Bryan is a true star in the making. His ring work is excellent. I love the fact that they are acknowledging his prior wrestling.

Michael Cole has doen the impossible and gotten worse. This guy cannot announce and we need Jim Ross back.

Matt Stryker interviews The American Dragon during commercial (this is shown on WWE.COM and not sure if it will show up on TV) and speaks to BD/DB like he is a muppet. I know it is for the show, but you could see BD/DB wanted to bitch slap him.

I think the WWE made a wise move bringing in The American Dragon this way. I think that he will be very Kurt Angleish as he is a submisisons specialist. He already has his catch phrase "Tap Or Snap" that he said to The Miz.

I liked the subtle things about the show that made it different - like the couple of different camera angles, especially the crane one on Bryan's dive. Just gave it a different feel I think, as with the video packages etc.

On that note, they've really stepped up and done some awesome promo work lately, especially the Taker/HBK one on Raw.

Anyway, NXT was decent I thought. They've really tried to do something fairly unique, and for a first show it went well I felt. For everyone that thought "wtf are they having The Miz with Bryan for?!" .. well, it worked perfectly.

Cole was very confusing on commentary and I couldn't work out whether he was meant to be a heel or what. He kinda went between both extremes.

Other than that, a couple of the guys have good looks, but no one else really got a strong in-ring opportunity outside of Bryan. So we'll need to see how it plays out over the next few weeks.

I'm certainly interested though.

Kind of gutted that Kaval aka Low Ki isn't in this season, but he may be the star of the next NXT season. There are due to be several seasons throughout the year with the winner getting a contract for Raw or Smackdown (Raw this time).

The HBK / Deadman promo was spine tingling....

"You don't understand it do you? If I don't beat you I don't have a career....!"

With this stipulation I can only see HBK getting the victory. They can't sour it with a screwjob finish. Both are due to take time off, and a loss for the Deanman at WrestleMania takes pressure off of him in the future. The Underatker has said that he wants tro go on for more years yet, but at a reduced pace. Having to up his game each Wrestle Mania must be hard for him. If Shawn does go over this time, it sets it up for a Rubber Match at WrestleMania XXVII. Have it as the last ever WrestleMania singles match between the two. That makes it special and can allow The Taker to get back on track winning at the Grandest Stage of them all!

Of the two, Shawn can take the 2-1 loss.

If this happens, Vince opwes me copyright money!! :YAHOO:

Back to the Raw promo...the Placebo backed Music Vignette was the best I have seen. The words embodied the on screen rivalry. The haunting words of HBK at the very end left you wanting more.

The WWE are upping their game. Dead wood is gradually going. They are moving forward and making new stars. And about time.

On a side note. After being used as one of Bischoff's henchmen on Impact, I wonder if Nigel McGuiness aka Desmond Wolfe is regretting signing now that he has seen what they have started with Brian Danielson aka Daniel Bryan...?

It's weird because when Desmond debuted, everyone was like "wow, they've just let him do his thing! They'll never do that with Bryan in WWE!" .. and yep, for a good few weeks he got a decent chance, but somewhere along the way he got f**ked over. Obviously in the Hogan regime.

And now Bryan's getting a decent shot.

As an ROH fan, I'm certainly hoping for some Punk/Bryan interaction. Punk was fantastic last night as he has been for a long time.

Dude, you go up in my estimations every day. I look forward to meeting you at an event and chewing the wrestling fat. Bring Jakeblue in and we will be up until dawn !! lol

I so hope that he gets back on track in TNA. McGuiness had so much promise, and now he has dropped right back down. He joins Joe and The Fallen Angel as people being criminally misused.

Am a total RoH mark. Trackign down as many shows as possible and buring to disc. Went to the other London event several years back and they had wrestlers performing there. But, they also had RoH dvds there. Just getting into it then, so regret not buying one of everything like I would now.

RoH has that old school ECW vibe.

Personally i dont have a problem with the Miz.

Yes hes come from reality tv and hes certainly not the in ring equal of John Morrison but he does have his merits.

The crowd hate him with a passion and the promo he cut against the locker room and JBL a few weeks back was as good a promo as the WWE has put on, and theres been some realy strong ones lately.

I think his replacing Jericho with the Big Show has watered him down a little and i think he's better off feuding with the midcard talent over the US belt.

As for NXT, havent seen it yet but am quite looking forward to it, hope Bryan Danielson lives upto the hype and completely agree that its refreshing that they are recognising his past achievements.

As for Desmond Wolfe. He went in like a house on fire at a time when the company was eager to push new talent. Unfortunately we all know what happened when Hogan and co arrived and now hes lost a little in the shuffle which is a real shame.

Holy crap.......how small is daniel bryan

Nah, it is just that The Miz is a big pile of steaming sh*t.....I aso do not like him or the character he is trying to portray. It is a cheap version of The Rock and will die in the next year or two. He could never be a face and be popular - he tried that and failed - so his merchandise sales wil be crap and then Vince won't like him anymore.

Daniel Bryan aka Bryan Danielson is a slightly more compact version of Kurt Angle, but with aerial moves. He is goign to be big if handled properly.

Holy crap, someone found cenas coloured twin

Tarver?

Maria surprises me as she's pretty over and has always been willing to do as asked, she's certainly better than the godawful michelle mccool who's only where she is cause of her boyfriend.

The hurricane is no surprise after recent events and birchell hasn't been the same since he dropped the pirate gimmick that I actually enjoyed

More amazing stuff from vince/bret and dx this week, though they do seem to be telegraphing hhh screwing hbk at mania

The thing is, who is there for Trple H to feud with as a face. We all know that HBK is having time off to coem back in the late Summer. If he loses he has no career. With HBK, I can't see him bothering to **** around with stips like some do. The WWE are making great strides, so pissing around now would be stupid. With Vince retiring soon, Triple H is positioned to take the spot Shane had. Triple H is just makign stars now, so a Triple H vs HBK is pointless. It also pisses away DX merchandise which both make a fortune from.

I see HBK over Deadman, as it helps both out. HBK gets the reverse win at Mania from last year, and Deadman loses that millstone of goign undefeated thus having to raise his game each year. His body isn't made for it, and no one can top HBK vs Taker at Mania. No one.

I see The Miz holding the US Title until the end of the current season of NXT. I see Daniel Bryan winning and gettign a title shto against The Miz.

I then see Daniel Bryan completely humiliating The Miz for the belt, and Michael Coel having to eat his words regarding DB.

At worst...I hope DB slaps the crap out of MC. Although MC is playing an on air role, it is very close to his real stance of dispising internet "dirt sheets".

The Raw Guest Host arrangement will continue post WrestleMania as the WWE have announced the guests hosts for the Monday after WrestleMania XXVI.

The eventual Heel Turn for Triple H, and the formation of a new stable including his training partner Sheamus, has been put off until later on in the year. A feud with HBK will probably dominate the latter part of the year stemming from such incidents as Triple H being eliminated at the Rumble by Shawn.
