Photo Shoots

Hello,

I am planning on booking a lot of photo shoots with different guests.

Just wondering if there was going to be the one Photo Area or two Photo Areas for this event.

Also wondering what train to get back in. Will all photo shoots be finished by say 4.30pm

Sometimes they have Cosplay photos at a certain time at night after the guests photos.

Thanks.

There are usually at least 2 photo area's but photo sessions can occur at any time right up to finishing time. If you need to leave by a certain time there is a risk that a shoot you have a ticket for may take place after that time.

As Raylenth have said photoshoots can be at any time up to close of the show. I know I had one a couple of years ago which was at 5.55pm and the show closed at 6pm. I had hoped to get it autographed as well afterwards as it was birthday pressie for OH but had to wait for the next show. It's far safer though to book train travel for after the show has closed because if nothing else it means that you can have more time walking around the event.

Thanks for your assistance.

A lot of the sports guests are leaving before 4pm so know their photo shoots will be before then.

Not sure how the batches work though.  Some have four batches.

Thanks.

Batches are just a management system for the photo shoots.  If you sell 500 tickets for 1 guest shoot, you don't want all those 500 people in the queue at once as it would be hard to control and huge.  So to make it more manageable they break it down to batches, each of which has a set number of tickets in it and then when it's time for the photo's they can call you up in the batch order and know that there will only be a set number of people in the queue until they call the next batch up.  The batches are called in number order -1, 2, 3 ect.  So the earlier you buy your ticket the lower your batch number will be, the later you buy it the higher it will be. As each batch sells out on the ticket site they will be struck through and you won't be able to select them and you will have to pick the next available batch group.

So the higher your batch number is, the later in the shoot you will go through.  You have to have a look at the schedule when it's published as some shoots are only 10/15 minutes long, so even if you've got the last batch you should be near the booth to make sure you don't miss it, but you only join the actual queue once your batch has been called up by the crew member running the queue.  Like with the auto's you can go through after your batch has been called, but you don't have to go through at the exact same time.

Hope that answers your question, please let us know if not or if you need further clarification.
