Example-The Parent Trap-Hayley Mills (Title Characters) & Lindsay Lohan, Joanna Barnes (Character of Vicki in both Movies) Disney live-action re-makes of their animated classics such as Beauty and the Beast-Paige O'Hara & Emma Watson (Belle), Robbie Benson & Dan Stevens (The Beast), Bradley Pearce & Nathan Mack (Chip) etc etc Other re-make franchises I can think of is King Kong, but there's loads to choose from!
