SF fan
Are backpacks allowed at the convention? Maybe for safety reasons you won't allow them.
Wrong Name
I've never been told I can't take one to any con I've ever been to and I really hope it's fine here too as I'm coming from the UK and need somewhere to put my autos and photos! Bag checks are a lot more common these days though.
Moderators StuartG2198 Posted August 25, 2016 Moderators Share Posted August 25, 2016 There shouldn't be any issue with this at all but as wrong name has already mentioned please expect your bag to be checked on entry.
ptenbob
Also, if you're going to wear a backpack, please be aware of how far it stretches out at the back - so many people don't appreciate that when they turn round or stop dead to look at a stall they're seriously inconveniencing others around them. My suggestions would either be to wear it in front of you or use a messenger style back instead :)

Carlosreddevil
I always bring a backpack with me, but it never has much more in it than a folder for my pics/autos and a tin of deodorant. Other than that, I make sure it's empty for room for all purchases on the day!
