issue with email

Figured FAQ was the Equivalent of a Help Board - hope so!

 

When I joined here, I set up with my side email account which I almost never use, just for forum validations etc. Now, I'd like to start having notifications sent to my main account but when I went into settings to change it, it told me "that email address is already in the system."

 

Not sure how this can be as I'm always Symphony everywhere so wouldn't have signed up with a different account before, and anyway, even if I had, wouldn't have used my main account. Not a big issue but thought I'd query it anyway!
