Thanks so much to all of the Showmasters crew for all the work and effort put in, it was awesome. :) Also, though, thanks to everyone from the forum who bothered talking to me over the weekend; I was a total con newb and everyone was sooo helpful. I have a huge amount of respect for James Marsters for even coming here let alone signing and interacting to the extent that he did. Though i'll admit it will be nice to get some sleep lol. Its when someone has spent time with a girl (or a chap, lets not be sexist) but they forgot or were too shy to ask for contact details. So they stick a description on here, hoping that the other person will see it and will identify themselves. Im still undecided on whether its a little romantic or slightly creepy! Thanks to Jason and Mark and all the showmasters crew who were as always, polite, friendly and helpful in the most stressful of conditions. All of the guests were awesome and kudos to James for turning out even though he was obviously in a lot of pain. I was lucky enough to win a guest encounter with Nick in the raffle and had a lovely time even though I think I spent the whole of the time blushing like an idiot. The parties were great and the talks really funny. Met wonderful people had lots of fun with the guests and was amazed at how well the schedule worked out (I'm ashamed to admit that when I first saw it I thought there was no way they'd pull it through, but they did and with flying colours!!!) Thank you to everyone who made this happen, and especially Debbie who is made of awesome and seemed to always be there when we needed her. You rock, lady, and I'm happy to have met you! thedothatgirl Posted November 2, 2009 Share Posted November 2, 2009 Great weekend. Good, friendly and interesting guests - James going above and beyond the call (despite being in pain). Fantastic parties with all the fun activities - loved the casino tables and the spinning pumpkin. Great to see so many costumes. You could really see the effort the organizers and crew put into this event and I felt really 'looked after' -very impressed by the attitude of the crew and this I think set the tone of the whole event.
