Aldrin
I agree with lennybear - prefer bham but the international guests are probably going to want to fly into London coz its a direct flight there and back or if they've got London interests. I go to London if I have to, but is the Heathrow area actually IN London? Seems to be a fair trek from the centre!
Count Fooku
Which is what makes me wonder if there might be a new venue for the show that is closer to central London.
shearwater
Notwithstanding the 'slaggibg off' they get on here from some quarters, it's probably fair to say that the show would lose a lot without the dealers and the ASF Space Bunnies. From their point of view (and I've spoken to most of the Space-oriented vendors) there are a few considerations that make central London really tough for them: 1) Parking a big vehicle for 3 days 2) Congestion charge / pollution charge 3) Flat unloading The Radisson doesn't present problems 1 & 2, but transporting heavy / large loads along its narrow corridors and in tiny lifts can't be any picnic.... I know lots of dealers prefer the Metropole for all these reasons. And Brum is central to the whole UK.
