Count Fooku
Funny you should say that, I had a couple of funny doings with her today. I was bumbling around in the room that had the astronauts signing in early this morning when she walked into me. I apoligised even though it wasn't really my fault and she just gave me a bit of a nasty look. When I went to get my DVD signed, there was a flash of recognition from her, can't say she was rude or anything, like you said perfectly polite but didn't seem particularly enthused if you take my meaning. zephyrbrett
I was really pleased to meet her but she did not seem in a very good mood and did not wish to make much conversation. Glad I got her autograph though.
Count Fooku
I've just been thinking a bit more about this, I wonder if this was the first time she has done an event of this sort and so maybe found the event a bit strange? I've sometimes found this with shall we say 'older' first time guests, that they don't seem to quite now how to be with people, then when you see them when they have done a few more shows they relax into it a bit more. m4sure
I met Prunella yesterday to get one of her books signed & she was really lovely. The evening before she was out late attending her son SAM WEST's new production with her hubby Tim & she looked a bit under the weather there too. The reason why I know this is because I was at Sam's show myself which didn't finish till late. She found it quite amusing when I told her I was stood next to her in the queue for the ladies toilets. She said it was an extraordinary co incidence. I also had my photo taken with her at the table & at the Fawlty Towers cast shoot & she was lovely there too although quiet even with the other cast. I have read somewhere that in real life Prunella is quite shy, so that's maybe why she didn't appear to be interacting that much. Not sure if this was her 1st event though. I really liked her. Dragon Home
I have read somewhere that in real life Prunella is quite shy, so that's maybe why she didn't appear to be interacting that much. Not sure if this was her 1st event though. I really liked her. It was her first event and she is very shy. She didn't know what to expect at all. Thank goodness it wasn't C12 or anything like that. I think one of the big events would have put her off for life. Anne
Kiwi 7
I agree with what everybody's been saying. She was very quiet & didn't seem to want to talk to anybody. Anyway, I got all my items signed, & was very pleased to meet her. Edited October 15, 2007 by Kiwi
