During the year there had been suggestions that there was going to be a comicon in Bluewater, Kent and a preliminary date of March 2013 had been batted about. Since then I have heard nothing about it and the earliest comicon on the website is Milton Keynes. Is a comicon at Bluewater just wishful thinking now? There are hundreds of fans in Kent who can't get to (or afford to get to) London and every other comicon seems to be very far north! We await a confirmation either way.

I've heard that there's going to be a comicon in Bluewater, Kent, it was confirmed by a Showmasters admin earlier in the year. Yet there are dates listed for the comicons next year and it's not on the list. Is it still in the pipeline, and if so can you say, roughly, for when? I know a lot of people who are interested and I'd love to be able to give them an answer.

I'm going to be dressed as Abby from NCIS this year. I haven't had a chance to wear my 4inch stack boots yet so I thought this would be the perfect excuse!

I've been hearing rumours that a comicon is going to be held in Bluewater (Kent) next year as they have a new convention centre open. Is this true or is it just wishful thinking? I'm hoping for true as the petrol / train fares to the other locations really cut into my budget.

I wish you could get Jared Padelecki or Jensen Ackles from Supernatural. They do Comicons in the US so maybe they'd come over here!

I will be dressing as Selene from Underworld. I've managed to get everything except the gauntlets sorted out so I should be ready by July. Hubby will (hopefully) be coming as a Stargate SGU marine and a friend may be comng as Lorn from Angel. A bit of a mixed bag!

I'll be coming as Selene from Underworld, just have the last couple of bits of outfit to put together. I'll be coming along with friends who will be dressed as Lorn and Illyria from Angel, as long as they can get their costumes completed!

I got the chance to meet Bob and got him to sign one of my Highlander swords as he worked on that as well. I agree that he did seem a little confused and he said that anyone could write his name and get away with it! As it may be the last time he'll ever do a signing I just had to meet him.

If all goes well and we manage to get our costumes together in time our group will be dressed as the following: Silent Hill nurse Steven Kings 'It' Lorn from Angel Jigsaw puppet from Saw. It's an odd mix, but they're also our halloween costumes!

I've taken swords on 2 occasions to a comicon. Only once was it taken from me to be signed, and that was with Elijah Wood whe I brought my 'Sting' to be signed. When I met Adrian Paul I brought a full sized Katana and was allowed to take it to the desk myself and Adrian even played with it before signing it! I think it's more to do with the guests (or their agents) preferences as to how they deal with it, but I've not had anyone say no to signing them. I'll definately be bringing my Highlander Katana to be signed by Bob. I mean, why have a swordmaster if he's not allowed to sign swords!

I was going to come to the Comicon as a version of Harley Quinn, but I've changed my mind and will be coming a Silent Hill Nurse.

Excellent!! I'm a huge Highlander fan and to meet the swordmaster would be excellent!! Just got to find my sword case now.

The tag is actually the suit brand label, I don't think it comes off to easy! All the outfits were cobbled together by our own fair hands, though not sure where they got the masks from, all I know is they were imported from the US. Just found that if another friend comes along we'll also have a Buffy style vamp in our group! I look forward to seeing everyone elses outfits, they're always really good!

This makes no sense. Why not Mr. J? MR J hasn't been in a film. Actually he'd be coming as the Riddler as that's the outfit he created for Halloween last year (same as both our Harley outfits) and we really need an opportunity to wear them again! I have created a Harley Quinn outfit similar to the one in the picture below. My sister (if she doesn't chicken out) will come as the Harley Quinn from the Arkham Asylum game and her boyfriend will be the Riddler!
