  1. Brian De Palma's masterpiece Carrie was released in 1976, and will be celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2016, so what perfect time for a Carrie reunion? P.J. Soles, Nancy Allen, Amy Irving, Betty Buckley, William Katt, Edie McClurg, Priscilla Pointer, etc - and of course Sissy Spacek, Piper Laurie, John Travolta and Brian De Palma if you could do it?! I think it would be amazing, and we rarely see Carrie guests over here in Great Britain!
  2. I am serious. And don't call me Shirley! ;-)
  3. Yeah, Autographica might be ideal.
  4. That would be great! Add Mark Patton, Kim Myers, Lisa Wilcox, Tuesday Knight and Heather Langenkamp to the list!
  5. It was amazing having Robert here last year, he was a wonderful guest - any chance to have him and Julie Hagerty aka Elaine from Airplane! over to London?
  6. I think it has been discussed many times on forums, Tuesday Knight attends conventions all over the USA and is very popular and well liked by her fans, and has expressed an interest many times that she'd love to visit a London convention - please make it happen!
  7. Michelle Pfeiffer would be an extraordinary guest, just like Sigourney Weaver this year! Please make it happen!
  8. Movie fans love Rutanya Alda's incredible work - she is the wonderful character actress who starred in The Deer Hunter, Mommie Dearest, When A Stranger Calls, The Fury, Vengeance, Amityville II: The Possession, Black Widow, The Dark Half, etc etc! Her filmography is long and she's got some amazing credits to her name! She is very interactive on Facebook with her fans, and is a wonderful and friendly person. She came to London in 2013 for a special event, but hasn't been booked by Showmasters yet - she'd be a great guest!
  9. Loved the Sigourney experience, couldn't believe how nice she was and so approachable - the power loader photoshoot first of all, where she was shaking hands, smiling and chatting, and being very friendly. The photo signing was wonderful, to be in that lovely peaceful room away from the crowds and chaos! Sigourney really perked up when I said as much as I love the Alien movies, my special favourite of hers is Working Girl - she really grinned and said how much fun Working Girl was! Both the Q&As were great, the one with Bill Paxton & Carrie Henn was so much fun, and the one of Sigourney on her own was terrific, although I wish it had gone on longer! She was a class act, and I would love to see her at an event again.
  10. Any chance we could get Joanna Cassidy, Sean Young & Daryl Hannah for a special Blade Runner reunion? I think that would be fantastic!
  11. Jennifer was lovely. She was the first guest I met on Friday, and she was so down to earth, friendly and chatty - really terrific guest. Then on the Sunday I met her again, this time with my partner. She had us in fits when she came round the desk to get ready for a photo - the light was terrible, my partner with the camera was directing us, and she and I were laughing as we comedy shuffled our feet around and around! Then my partner noticed that her button on her shirt had come off, and was revealing a bit too much, so he kindly let her know! She was very grateful, and made a joke out of it! She was simply lovely, and it was great to meet her. I hope she comes back again, she was a delight to talk to.
  12. Tuesday wrote on her Facebook today to please let European autograph shows know how much she'd love to come to the UK for an event! Please get her for London! :-)
  13. Again, I am so excited about meeting Margot! Is there no way that Sarah Douglas could come to the London event too? It would be so nice to have more than one Superman guest present - and if you could somehow get Annette O'Toole, Pamela Stephenson, Annie Ross and Mariel Hemingway to join Margot (and Sarah?!) too, for the 75th anniversary of Superman, that would be amazing!
  14. I'd love to hear Jonathan Scott-Taylor's memories of the film too. Yes, from what I've heard he is now a lawyer, married with kids and retired from acting. Shame, because he was such a talented guy.
  15. Julie Dawn Cole is a good friend of mine, and she has always enjoyed the conventions she has done Stateside. She has done a couple of special events at cinemas for Willy Wonka here in the UK, but she has never been asked to do a British convention - and she lives not far from London, and would do it in a heartbeat! Lovely, funny, talented, great stories to tell - she'd be a brilliant guest for London Collectormania!
