Hi i nearly always stay in one of the SMART backpakers hostels when i'm in london as you can either book dorm rooms or private rooms and there all payment on arrivalyou just make a small deposit they have backpakers at near bayswater tube station so is very convinient for conventions and i find its always cheaper than a hotel http://www.smartbackpackers.com/default.aspx

wahoo i love robert i met him at MK year before last and he was soo friendly i actually have a pic of me and him and in the back ground is a sign that says no photo's! anyway i can't wait to meet him again as last time i gave his auto to my little bro so need one for me! love him

well i was really looking forward to it till i looked up travel possibilites and found out it'll cost £22, take 1 train and three coaches, and about 7hrs to get there from where i live and thats before i've paid for accomodation and got spending money for autographs, memorabillia ECT... they better have some good guests!!

Well let see anyone from star trek enterprise, enyone from Torchwood , anyone from glee or anyone from CSI or anyone from merlin would be great!

I agree with all the comments eve was lovely. i got her autograph, with my little brother and my friend who was on crutches she talked to me about how she liket my top and asked my friend how she had hurt herself. she was very friendly and was deffinately the hight light of my day. her talk was also awsome, she had the whole room in fits of laughter!!

oh this sounds fab can't wait although i was thinking that it said in the ad on the back of the ems program that they'll have bigger guests at blue water, anyone any ideas how they'll top David Tennant (weather your a who fan or not you have to admit David is a pretty big guest!!). I would personally love either a star trek guest such as Conner trinner (trip tucker star trek enterprise) or maybe a csi guest, they had A J Buckley (Adam csi NY) at one a while back but couldn't make it to the show.

ok not sure if this is in the right section but anyway, i was at the entertainment and media show in london on the 1st october and when i got my programme on the back was an advert for collectormania blue water i was just wondering if the website for this convention has been launched yet as i can't seem to find it???? was just curious to see if they have announced any guests yet as it says on the ad they will have bigger guest, though how there going top david tennant i dont know!

hi, ben just read your post hope your excited about going to the convention. in answer to your quesations: 1) buy your autographs there will either be a table set up near the front of the queing area where you can pay for your autographs or for some of the less popular guests you may have to pay the assistant sitting next to the guest. 2) yes for some of the more popular guest you will need to get a virtual que number. the wait time varies depending on how popular the guest is but the longest i had to wait was 2hrs for alex kingston. but having a virtual que ticket means you can look round and come back to the guest later to check what numbers are up and you can go up anytime after your number has been called. 3) you can get anything signed, but they also provide a selection of photos to choose from if you want an autograph but havn't got anything to get signed. 4) well this is a tricky question to answer as officially there not supposed to allow photos with the guest apart from in the paid shoots however i have found guest are often willing to pose anyway if you ask especially if there table isn't busy at the time i have some fab pictures of me and my friends and robert duncan mcniel (tom paris star trek voyager) at the milton keynes convetion last year. my advise would be to wait untill there quite and politly ask the worse they can do is say no!!

i had a briiliant time went to all four days as arrived on friday but hardly anyone there!! met tim russ first he was nice enough allowed a photo but didnt really talk. then saw kate mulgrew again nice enough allowed a photo but not much conversation. next day and next on the list was the red dwarf cast for my friend, the all seemed really friendly and happy to pose for photo's, had a breif chat with danny john jusles, asked him what he'd been in other than red dwarf as recognised him but i dont watch red dwarf (my best friend was with me and wanted to meet him), turns out he was in mI HI and story makers both of which my little brother has watched. next on the menue was tommy knight, he was very nice only met him as i promised my brother his auto but he was a lovely guy. saved the best till last as next we headed for joe flannigan got his autograph he was nice, i mentioned to him how nervous my friend was about meeting him, he replied "why i don't bite" then jumped at her, made both her and the crew girl next to him jump lol!! next on the list was my personal fav and the actor i have wanted to meet since i was like 4, robert duncan mcneil, what a brilliant guy!! wondered round looked at the deallers stalls then met patrick stweret was number 700 and something in the VC. left at closing time. went back again on sunday as my friend wanted to meet norman lovett and i had a photo shoot with robert duncan mcneil, wasnt planning on spending the whole day but after we met norman lovett, who was very chatty and friendly, and i'd had my photo shoot with robert duncan mcneil (i was physically shaking i was so nervous!!) we bumped into a freind and ended up going round seeing if we could get any photos of the guests at the signing tables, got loads, robert duncan mcneil let us take loads of him, we were standing outside his tent for ages trying to get a decent photo then he spotted us and started blowing kisses at us which made us giggle so much we couldn't hold the camera still so he waved us in and let us take loads of photos (think i'm in love!! ) met jeffery combs he was nice wrote a great personalisation on my freinds autograph. wen back on monday to meet tom baker ended up seeing robert duncan mcneil again, more hugs and conversation!! (really in love !! although he probably thinks we're stalkers now as have seen him like nine times in four days.) over all brilliant guests billiant event hope to go back next year!!!

i went with my best freind sinead, my best dedication was from joe flannigan who said "katherine lovely meeting you in milton keynes - joe flannigan". But sinead got a brilliant one from jeffery combs who said " long live andoria pink skin - jeffery combs".

hi i think it is ridiculous that people have compained about this episode of doctor who as it is one of the best episodes ever and anybody who watches doctor who, who is any sort of fan knows that the Doctor wants to be ginger and that this line was simply refering to a line said by David Tennant in a previous episode: DOCTOR: "am i ginger?" ROSE: "No, you’re just sort of... brown" DOCTOR:"Aww, I wanted to be ginger. I’ve never been ginger." get facts straight before complaining people!

WOO a CSI con would be awsome i love csi can't get enogh of of it although it does annoy me that in england we're likem nearly a whole season behind america as i have a cousin who lives in the USA who is also a fan and always tells me wots going to happen which ruins it a bit!! if i could choose the guest lis for a CSI con my ultimate guest list would be: Marg Helgenberger, George Eads, Eric Szmanda, Wallace Langham, William Petersen, Gary Dourdan , David Caruso, Emily Procter, Adam Rodriguez, Jonathan Togo, Khandi Alexander, Rory Cochrane, Gary Sinise, Melina Kanakaredes , Carmine Giovinazzo, Anna Belknap, A.J. Buckley, Hill Harper, Eddie Cahill, and Quentin Tarantino (he wrote a few episodes of csi las vegas including the csi finale of seson 5 where nick gets buried alive). PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO A CSI CON YOU WILL GET THE SUPPORT AS CSI IS A HUGE HIT.
