  1. I doubt they will get any, Glasgow had none this weekend. They should just call it "Film and TV Con" or "Sci-Fi con"
  2. It's a shame, I would really like to see Bournemouth have something along the lines of a 'Comic Alley' like they do at London. Really enjoy meeting the artists and buying their artwork, and enjoyed meeting Lee Townsend at the last London one I went to., Exactly! It's a great shame, as the comic guests were fantastic a few weeks back and I couldn't of been more hyped to talk to them and get some artwork done for my collection, now it is massively underwhelming and feels like Comic Alley is just an after thought.
  3. I agree, the only thing I got was after I tweeted them twice and got a message back saying "The website is the most up to date source for information". This however is very interesting... So showmasters did cancel all the comic guests
  4. The comic guest section definitely needs improving, no offense to the guests now confirmed but most comic readers will read American comics and not care for the Beano guests and the guests before were a lot better and to have them cancelled same day seems suspicious to me. There is still time to improve this area, after all "Comic" is in the title so should be an area of greater focus. Why not try to get people like Kieron Gillen, Boo Cook, Grant Morrison, Mark Millar, Skottie Young, Erik Burnham, Dan Schoening etc as guests.
  5. Gutted, another guest along with the previous selection of Comic guests gone that I wanted to meet. Glad I haven't brought a ticket yet as the guests are dropping like flies. Hopefully get some better guests or Spike replacing her would be amazing, seeing as he was at Glasgow and will be at Amsterdam this weekend.
  6. How about: Doug Cockle - Geralt of Rivia (The Witcher game series) and lives local. Masi Oka - Heroes Jim Lee - Comic Artist Colin Donnell - Tommy Merlyn (Arrow) Amber Benson - Tara (Buffy) James Marsters - Spike (Buffy) and he is at Glasgow and Amsterdam Emma Caulfield - Anya (Buffy) Ian McDarmuid - Palpatine (Star Wars) Sean Astin - Sam (Lord of the Rings) Ashley Witter - Comic Artist (Squarriors) Ash Maczko - Comic Writer (Squarriors) Tara Strong - voice actor (Harley Quinn, Powerpuff girls etc) any one else from Heroes, Buffy, former Wrestlers, especially more Comic book guests as that is lacking...
  7. I'm hoping for some more comic book guests. Any one like Dan Slott, Keiron Gillen, Boo Cook etc. will be great.
  8. Ernie Hudson (to make up for cancelling on LFCC Winter) Dan Akroyd Harold Ramis Annie Potts William Artherton Ivan Reitman Robin Shelby Sarah Michelle Gellar Nicholas Brendon Alyson Hannigan Anthony Head James Marsters Emma Caulfield Walking Dead guests! Arrow guests! Heroes guests! CM Punk
  9. Thanks David, appreciate this. It looks similar to LFCC at Olympia last year which I what I was kinda expecting but happy to know for sure.
  10. YES!!! Please have a Celebration of Ghostbusters at LFCC 2014. Any guest from Ghostbusters would be great!
  11. Now that i've looked, I'm not seeing it either. This is the website I'm looking at for information. http://www.tfl.gov.uk/tfl/livetravelnews/realtime/track.aspx?offset=weekend
  12. The engineering works are a pain. I suffered last year when I went on the Sunday to Olympia. Had to take a detour that took me over an hour to get to the venue. Luckily it appears this time that Clapham to Olympia will be open, fingers crossed it stays that way. I'm sorry for anyone who gets delayed due to the engineering works.
  13. Same here, now it's just Jon Bernthal for me and some of the comic guests, might decide to meet another guest or two for the hell of it. Oh well, I'm sure it will still be a great day and worth the 2 hours of traveling to get there.
