Bin selbst keine Deutsche aber hab in Bayern gewohnt. Hab waehrend Collectormania einige Deutsche gehoert aber fuehlte mich ein bisschen unhoeflich und wollte nichts sagen!!

Thanks to the Showmasters crew and the photographers. Thanks to the guests I met, Robert Patrick and Nigel Planer for giving up their time to attend and chat. A huge thanks to the lovely man who donated me a lower autograph ticket number for Robert- Without you I would've had to have left without giving Robert a card I'd made as I had to get home quickly to pack for moving. If you read this- I owe you a drink at the next one!

I agree too, he took a decent amount of time to talk to everybody, was very down to earth and was really friendly. I was quite surprised he remembered me from several years ago. It would be lovely to have him back again, I'll be there every time!!

My main reason for going was to meet Robert again. Obviously this may not be the same experience for you, but today I got there at about 10:15, headed straight to the organisers booth and got a photo ticket, no problem. The autograph was more of an issue as I was still waiting to see him at half 3, thankfully I was donated a ticket by a kind man.

I've not been back in very long but I had an awesome day! My thanks go to Showmasters, the crew, the guests I met and some lovely people I met. This was the first con I'd been to since they were moved from CMK to the stadium and I was really impressed with the layout, timing and organisaton. It was a lot easier to move around and a lot less packed than I thought it would be. Nigel Planer was a lot quieter than I thought he'd be but he was very friendly and I jogged his memory on a few Young Ones moments that he'd forgotten about. The main person I went to see was Robert Patrick after I last saw him in 2004. A big thanks to the very kind man who gave me his ticket with a lower number at about half 3- If you get to read this, I'm so grateful to you because otherwise I would've had to have left because I'm moving out of my flat in the next few days. Robert was signing quite slowly throughout the day but he took a decent amount of time to talk to everybody and was was very genuine. Totally made my day!! Photos coming in the next few days when I've got my camera cable and scanned in the pics I had taken.

I'm quite an old hat for cons now but it looks like I'm going on my own tomorrow. Would love to meet up with people :)

Hoping to get there for just after 10 cos I'm taking the bus (damn no longer having a car). Haven't ever been to a Showmasters event inside the stadium before, all my previous ones were in CMK so this should be interesting.

If only I'd known about this earlier. Awesome, thanks a lot :)
