  1. There are so many variables in this equation, it is difficult to to produce an average norm. So why not just play it by ear and enjoy the day as it unfolds.
  2. Isn't it about time that someone in authority from Showmasters got a grip of this Forum? The kind of useless drivel which is consistently now being posted serves no useful function whatsoever.
  3. Showmasters, please do not listen. Edited by QS: Sorry, I have edited you post. If this was your idea of a joke, I did not find this funny at all. Helmut is just as entitled as everyone else to speak up if he does not lik a venue. Just look at the Manchester forum and look at posts of users there who want to have another Manchester event because they have travel issues.
  4. I have his biography containing a signed bookplate. I would love to get his signature in the actual book. Also a good link with (hopefully) cosmonaut guests. A suggestion well worth thinking about.
  5. You have my strongest support on this one. Great suggestion. Thankyou.
  6. This is a ridiculous thread, asking about new guests for an event which is in October!! We aleady have Patrick Moore confirmed. That is a big enough announcement to last until August. Get a life.
  7. Whilst I've never done it myself, I don't think there's always anything wrong in selling autographs for profit. Fine, but let's not have any complaints from anybody about the high prices astronauts charge. They know there are people like you around who want to make a profit out of them !!!!!!!!!
  8. Yes I agree. SHOWMASTERS can you please confirm if he is autographing?
  9. Great photographs Kiwi 7 and Gilgalad. Thank you for providing the opportunity to see them
  10. Much has been said about some of the fees, particularly that for Dave Scott. Why shouldn't he charge £95? He reads these postings the same as everybody else, just as he views online auctions. Before the ink was hardly dry, items signed by Scott and McDivitt appeared on an online auction called Astroauction. I can't believe there are people out there who are so insensitive as to attempt to blatantly make a profit so quickly from the good will of our hereos.
