  1. Ok, will do, thanks. Shouldn't it be extrahelp@showmastersevents.com
  2. Well crap, I've only just seen the assistance form. I filled it out immediately, of course, but it's a day late. Does this mean they will be giving us trouble next Friday? I do have a weekend pass but I need my husband's assistance to get around. I had no idea there was a deadline or a form, for that matter.
  3. I've seen the real deal on the WB backlot and have to say the one at LFCC was a bit pants. We decided to pass on that photo.
  4. I wish they would. I'm happy to write to them, but this will be my third email and they never get back to me.
  5. I think I can explain the 'no touching' thing with Benedict. As somebody else said, he was confused why people were hugging Mads and not touching him. And the crew had indeed told people not to touch Benedict because he had been 'touched inappropriately' earlier that day. I think someone heard him say 'I didn't say 'no touching', I just don't want to be groped!'. So I have a feeling some fans got handsy and things were awkward after that, at least for a little while.
  6. Hey QS, I'd be interested in that information as well, for next time!
  7. Have you ever considered that those 'naughty people' were carers getting VQ tickets for the disabled guest? Because that's what my husband and I ended up doing on Sunday. On Saturday we had to realise that anyone who couldn't use the stairs would have to walk/roll to the other end of the venue, take the lift and walk/roll back. Fat chance of getting a reasonable VQ number like that.
  8. Hey guys, to start off I'd like to say how incredibly well-organized the event was. The crew was lovely and there was so much space that even the sold out Saturday never felt over crowded. I've massively enjoyed the weekend and will be back for sure. The only issue I ran into was the VQ tickets. Getting them was a bit of a nightmare. As soon as the gates opened there was a massive stampede to get upstairs to the autograph area. I'm a wheelchair user and even though we got a 5 minute head start, that was not enough time to walk to the lift on the opposite side of the venue and back over to the autographs before everything went crazy. I tried to get a VQ ticket for Benedict and the scene there was pretty bad. I don't understand why people aren't told to queue for the VQ tickets? They we're just swarming around the crew member. I made the mistake of getting in there to get my ticket and promptly got smacked in the head by a DSLR camera around a blokes neck as everyone was pushing and shoving. It was mayhem. Safe to say that I ended up with a very high VQ number and I only got my autograph because a lovely con goer offered to swap for their lower number. There were some super lovely people at LFCC. So my suggestions/questions: Wouldn't it be better to have people queue up for VQ tickets once upstairs? So nobody gets injured? Is there any way to make this process a bit fairer for people who need to get the lift to get up to the autograph area? As a disabled con visitor, this whole set up made me feel rather disadvantaged.
