  1. After watching Sharknado 5 last night I would love to meet Ian Ziering and Tara Reid.
  2. Loved that she bought a little iron to the photo shoot so you could be 'Iron Fist'. Lovely person.
  3. I know what you mean. Already planning 3 days instead of 2 next year. Just waiting in anticipation for the guests to be announced, hurry up already :)
  4. I am new to conventions over the last 12 months, DST, Collectormania and LFCC. I can honestly say that I have enjoyed all 3 but LFCC was amazing. Showmasters have done a great job and I have nothing to complain about. I have already booked holiday at work for next year, just waiting for the tickets to be released!
  5. I really like my set photo with Wil Wheaton. I think it's pretty accurate tbh and defo looks better in the photo than in the flesh
  6. I didn't meet him but he cracked me up when I was getting Tricia Helfers autograph talking about a time he had diahorea. She was grossed out. Also nearly bumped into him when he was going to his photo shoot, couldn't have been nicer. I will definitely get an autograph and photo shoot next time he is around just for been such a funny and nice guy.
  7. I've never done a cosplay. Any sites, hints tips etc. that can help? I like to think that I'm quite practical. Fancy doing it for collectormania as It's only a short drive from where I live.
  8. Sylvester McCoy did his own talk. He is brilliant and very funny. You can tell he is an old hand at these things.
  9. Loved him as a director and actor since I first watched Clerks many years ago. Meeting him was awesome, so friendly. Shook my hand, posed, I gave a thumbs up, he commented on the "great thumb action", double hi-five and a "thanks man". No rushing, even though it was near the end of the shoot and Edge was standing waiting for his to start. So happy even though I have a massive cheesy fan-boy smile in the photo, still my favourite.
  10. Did Friday and Saturday on my first LFCC and loved it. Got home to Cov about 9pm still buzzing. Got up Sunday morning and lay on the sofa stiff as a board. Managed to get out and buy some frames. Once all pictures where framed I had another little buzz of excitement, I met all those amazing people! Back work today and reality hit, they call think I'm a nerd but they where all jealous ;). Already planning next year for the whole weekend, arrive Thursday and leave Monday to make it a bit more relaxing. Am I bothered that I spent a load of money? Definitely not, I have got some great memories which can never be taken away.
  11. Luckily I got low VQ's and autographs on Friday for the ones I wanted, except RDA who is really slow. Saturday I only bothered with 2 VQ's because it was a scrum and focused purely on photo shoots. I would recommend Friday, much more chilled and relaxed. Next year I will get some Diamond passes and maybe a gold.
  12. Apart from the awesome guests, John Rhys Davies & RDA's great handshake, my favourite memories are the following: Getting an autograph from Tricia Helfer and Michael Rosenbaum was chatting about a time he had diahorea. Cracked me up no end. A bit later on I nearly walked into him on his way to a photo shoot and he apologised to me. Very funny man. Getting my Kevin Smith photo near the end of his morning stint, just picked up my photo and was on my way out and Edge was standing waiting for his photo shoot. I stopped and stared at him, mumbled hi and scuttled off. Very embarrassing. Told Chris Judge he had amazing trousers, not the coolest think to say, but they where truly something to behold. Not sure I could get away with them.
  13. Only guests I never saw with a VQ where RDA & Kevin Smith but they where slow signers and my numbers where pretty high. Was in the queue for Alan Tudyk next to the Kevin Smith queue and it hardly moved for the whole time I was there. If they both come next year I am defo getting a diamond.
  14. Tricia was VQ on Friday, went down nice and quick though. I was about 130 and got her autograph about 1130. Benedict Wong wasn't VQ because they where not expecting him and he hardly had a queue
  15. Just interested in what everyone does with there autographs and photos? Mine are (nearly) all framed ready to go up in my soon to be hall and landing. Bought 12 frames today, need another 5 but the shop sold out. Not sure if I can keep it up though as I am currently on 26 pictures framed already!
