Yep, entry is completely free of charge. The only tickets one may need to pay for are: Photoshoot Diamond Pass Gold Pass (acts like a priority Virtual Queue ticket for non-Diamond guests, and allows you to acquire £50 worth of autographs).

Must be something new (or overlooked or forgotten by myself) as I’ve not purchased a Diamond Pass since 2018.

If memory serves correctly, you don’t need batch numbers for Diamond Passes. Diamond Pass holders will get priority over Gold Pass and standard photoshoot ticket holders.

Have checked the post on the recent Winter LFCC thread, and it says “both in costume”. Hopefully we can get confirmation or more clarity nearer the time.

I’m wondering the same myself. Ticket page is saying ‘Aldred & McCoy in costume’ Would be great if she will be in costume as well, since I’ve already had a photoshoot with Sylvester McCoy in costume at this year’s LFCC.

So it begins. Already got time off work and a hotel booked. But at the mo, it’s down to other commitments not clashing, as well as my finances and the guest list

See if I can liven it up with my usual summing up and pics. This was my first LFCC and SM event since 2019, and for me, it was stress-free, but tiring. Only had 1 autograph and 2 photoshoots. But it was good to meet some fellow cosplayers for the first time in years, especially in light of a personal circumstance a couple of years back. Main highlight was having a photoshoot with Sylvester McCoy in costume, while cosplaying as his Doctor. Good points: Crew member complementing me on paying in £5 notes for an autograph Guest area less of a mosh pit Got to see (not meet) almost every guest, even if a few were just brief glimpses Almost every trader accepting cash Trader tables in a straight, rather than staggered, alignment The lady selling the tribbles putting up with my Klingon (some of the tribbles didn't even get frightened) Being able to visit the Lego displays in the afternoon Negative points: Morning queue for Robert Emms was limited for health and safety reasons - could have either done with Mr Emms being in the guest area rather than the Star Wars Zone, or VQ tickets At least one trader only accepting card No slush drink stall like the one held in 2018 & 2019 Some others, but these are on Olympia's end rather than Showmasters

Only seen one stall with a Card Only sign, and at least two others with a Cash Only sign. Did ask some traders selling wood-based merchandise if they’d accept sheep, but they said No.

I’m here all 3 days. Friday was quiet. I only got one autograph, and a friend got Temuera Morrison’s autograph by lunchtime that he decided to go to a cinema in the afternoon. Yesterday was busy and my friend decided to settle for half the autographs he planned to get before taking the coach back home, while I had some company with some fellow cosplayers before having a photoshoot with Matt Smith. Today, I’ve only been to Sylvester McCoy’s talk, and waiting for his costume photoshoot.

There was no batch number showing on my ticket and these tickets were declared Batch 0. Link to comment This was five years ago so it may or may not be the case on this occasion.

This happened to me with a standard photoshoot for a last minute guest in 2018. It ended up being Batch Number Zero. Whether this will be the case or not this year is down to Showmasters.

Got photoshoot tickets for Matt Smith with the Tardis on the Saturday, and Sylvester McCoy in costume on the Sunday.

And near a tube station or bus stop on a route that can get you to Olympia, or a nearby station that’s a short walk away.

@D-C-A Think I spent that amount in 2018 where I accomplished meeting all the surviving male Doctor Who actors at the time, with about 2/3 of that amount on Diamond Passes. My current plans are photoshoots with Sylvester McCoy and Ernie Hudson in costume (met him at Collectormania in 2017), and to say Hi to Andrew Cartmel.

Hopefully we’ll have Jodie Whittaker and/or Jo Martin. I missed out on previous opportunities as I personally didn’t feel comfortable attending the events on those occasions in view of the pandemic. But now at a comfort level and got no other commitments at the same time that I will be attending all 3 days.

Last couple of LFCCs when I met him, he let me sit next to him for a bit of a chat (first time was when I was cosplaying as the Seventh Doctor).

I wasn’t at the event due to personal circumstances, and personally not feeling comfortable with large gatherings at this time, so I don’t have all the facts. I recall one past LFCC where I eventually met one non-Diamond guest at a past LFCC in the afternoon because the Gold Pass holders were getting priority and the VQ number range remained the same throughout most of the day. Some of the posts/suggestions here reminded me of a much smaller event I went to that only had a few guests where the VIP ticket holders could meet the guests during a time slot in the morning, after which normal ticket holders could meet them if time allowed, or wait until they’re available in the afternoon. Although I don’t think it would work well for a large-scale event. On a side note, I have met Brian Blessed a couple of times in 2004, including a Collectormania that year.

Nice! Would be buying entry ticket and a Tardis photoshoot with me cosplaying as the 7th Doctor, but I’m going to wait and see what the situation is with regards to the pandemic nearer the time.

My other plans in regards to location have been cancelled but there may be an alternative arrangement at the same time, or on another weekend. Have booked a hotel but not bought any tickets yet in case circumstances continue to make me feel it'd be best to stay safe and stay at home.
