  1. I have a Sigourney Weaver Diamond Pass batch 2. I will be attending all 3 days. Which photo shoots am I supposed to attend?
  2. I bought a Diamond Pass for Sigourney on Wednesday. I live in South Africa and the postal services are terrible (always striking, very slow). I have emailed the shop and asked to rather collect my pass from the venue than for it to be posted to me. I haven't received a reply or confirmation so I'm just telling Queen Sindel so that someone knows.
  3. Hey! One GBP is equivalent to almost 20ZAR so don't complain. ;-(
  4. Anything Alien-related. My poor South African Rand (ZAR) is going to suffer terribly.
  5. I actually have the same question. I want to purchase a Diamond Pass for Sigourney, but live in South Africa. The postal system here is really shoddy so I'd rather have it posted to the hotel where I'll be staying. Will this be possible?
  6. How much do you think you will need each day? I'm an international visitor and will also need to figure that out.
  7. Ha ha, dankie, Best Boy. I feel much better now, and appreciate the answers. I am in the final year of my PhD, and my topic is fandom and fan cultures. So I guess LFCC is going to be a bit of a research experience for me as well. I have only one photoshoot booked, and that is for Jeremy Bulluch in his Boba Fett costume. My primary purpose is to experience the event from a fan perspective and to watch fans in their "natural environment". Interestingly I am not coming to meet the guests - I am coming to study the fans! And I am very excited.
  8. I am attending LFCC as part of trip to the UK. I am coming from South Africa, and I bought a gold pass so that I could get the full experience. I have not attended a Comic Con before so I have no idea what to expect. I'll be honest, reading the posts regarding disappointment from last year is quite disheartening. I have spent a ton of money on my trip (if you consider the exchange rate: 1GBP = 19ZAR), and I really want this to be an event not to be forgotten. I guess what I'm saying is that I hope it will be worth the money I'm spending, and that I won't have to wait in queues for hours or feel like "cattle", as I read somewhere, and that I'll be able to rest in the chill room.
