does anyone have the dstl blues
swordless replied to trekkerjonathan's topic in Destination Star Trek London
I'm still at the point of denying my bank even gives statements so there is no possible way I could check how much money I have... -
That was a funny moment Did you get good seats for Shatner in the end?

I've been to Vegas for the whole "See the Grand Canyon, Gamble Lose a lot of money" thing before but it would be good to go back for an event. If their conventions are anything like their burgers it should be big. -
This may sound weird but the best thing I can say about the crew was that I barely noticed them. Obviously I saw them a lot all over the place but other than a couple of seconds to grab a ticket, a couple more to hand it back when I got in line and maybe a quick "Am I in the right place?" "Yes you are" exchange every now and again I didn't have much cause to deal with them. I probably encountered a dozen or so different crew during the day I was there and the fact my dealings with you all were so quick and uneventful means you must have been doing a good efficient job. Thanks to all of you guys and gals for doing such fine work.

I noticed that DSTL was to be my first con but I took the opportunity to go to EMS with a friend as a sort of test run so I would know what to expect. Now I am starting to build up a little list of cons I would like to go to and am giving serious thought to a big trip to Vegas for one next year... -
My friend had the same with his Scott Bakula photo. Maybe there was a little difference in understanding on the proceedure on reshoots between staff at the different photo areas...

Don't know if they were recording or just there for the pictures on the screens. Would be good to be able to get a DVD.

swordless replied to HONK's topic in Destination Star Trek London
There was a breakfast with a guest but it doesn't say it is all or even one of the captains. -

An In-depth review by a Platinum - Part 1
swordless replied to Rizla187's topic in Destination Star Trek London
Some guests are fine with photos and some aren't. If the guests have asked not to do photos then it's the crews job to say no to requests. -
I like the shadow on my face. Adds to my mystique. If only they could have got it on both sides of my face...

Most approachable/engaging captain?
swordless replied to en3sge's topic in Destination Star Trek London
If he said that to me it would have made my day and gone nicely with the pic I had him sign. https://twitter.com/...er.com/OC3QzjQX -
That's one of the nicest and most inaccurate things anyone has ever said to me. Thanks. And I agree Shatner does look good.

Oh - go on! We haven't seen any yet. Yeah we want to seeeee!!! Pretty please Can't believe I am actually being begged for this but here ya go. https://twitter.com/...2/photo/1/large Now tell me that wouldn't look out of place with the caption "Man wanted for questioning after sudden disappearance of William Shatner"
