  1. It was great to meet Michelle Ryan yesterday but felt sorry for the guests during their talks (Michelle and Caroline Munro) in that none of the people looking after them had done their homework about the actors and what they had been in. They had NO prepared questions and had to rely on the audience asking them. Poor Caroline Munro managed well and told a few stories, Michelle fared better in that there were ample questions from the audience, but the presenter only knew 2 things things she had been in and said to her ' what else have you been in?'. Not good enough. If you invite guests for talks, make sure there are good questions to ask which make for an entertaining time for the audience as well as the interviewee.
  2. How about some of the cast from ALIEN, with 2014 being the movie's 35th anniversary? Surely John Hurt and/or ian Holm, both UK stars? Harry Dean Stanton, the man has a huge body of work so would likely appeal to a large number of movie fans. I met Tom Skerrit at LFCC a year or so back and he was great, same goes for Veronica Cartwright and Yaphet Kotto, but would be nice to see them again. Imagine the photoshoot!!!
  3. I run a web site for Lee Majors and can confirm he has yet to do a UK signing event/convention, although he is now doing 3-4 of these in America, so is obviously not adverse to this kind of event or meeting fans. Totally agree it would be great to get him over here, although several people have broached the subject of a UK event but he has yet to say a firm yes.. he is 75 this year and his health is not the best so all the travelling may be detering him, but I think we should still try. If we ca';t get Lee, Lindsay wagner, Richard Anderson and either Alan Oppenheimer and/or Martin BNrooks would be fantastic
  4. I got just one photoshoot, with Jenna and it was amazing. Gr8 foto, the crew in 'A' were really helpful but didn't rush people. Thanx guys you were the best!
  5. In defense of some the previous posts about guests not shaking hands or re-posing for photo's, I have to say on Sunday Martin Landau shook MY hand twice, even when I didn't offer it and had nothing but time to make sure the autograph was 'dry' before handing it over to me... what a gent! He didn't do posed photo's, but given his fraililty I can understand that. Also Sylvia Anderson was OTT with posing with several people I saw, more than happy for them to come round the other side of the desk and get down to her level for a photo. It just goes to show there are 2 sides to every situation.
  6. I went to the Sunday 1999 shoot and it was very well organised, as seems to have been the rest of them. Everyone got through quickly and love the fact the photo's were instantly available - thanx to all!

    Thanx for sharing, especially the Saturday 1999 shot... only managed to attend Sunday.
  9. How long before the photo's show up in the shop? Also, the 1999 guests were all signing various Eagle B&W landscape photo's do you know who they were for? Is it autographica and again, when will they be available??? Sorry, abit excited!
  10. If anyone wants to post their photshoots here, I for one would be delighted to see them!
  11. Will there be any signed photo's of the SPACE:1999 Saturday guests to buy at the show if we are coming down on Sunday? It's a long-shot but worth an ask :+}
  12. Is there any chance you guys will be able to take a photo of the Saturday SPACE:1999 photoshoot and make the picture available to buy on Sunday or thru the web site? I can't make Saturday but would love a group shot of all the Saturday guests as a momento to go with the 2nd season Sunday shoot???
  13. Gotta have it in the Control room... will be an awesome memory of the day :+}
  14. Wouldn't you know it, the tickets dropped through the door 10 minutes ago! Cheers, guys.
  15. Would love to see someone invite Lee Majors [THE SIX MILLION DOLLAR MAN] to do a UK event. Lee's has been rumoured/scheduled for a couple in the past but never been able to make it. I now he now does these kind of events in the US so it would be brilliant to get him as a first-time UK Guest!
