So sad to hear that previous Autographica guest Ernest Borgnine passed away yesterday.I didn't know where to put this topic so opted for here.He was a fine actor and a superb guest to meet, ever smiling, funny, enthusiastic to meet fans and a legend for his career. Seems appropriate to thank Showmasters for getting him over as a guest as none of us would have had to chance to meet this lovely fella if it wasn't for you guys.. So Thanks Jason and co. And condolences to his family,wife and children. He'll be missed by fans and collectors .

O.k there were a couple of things that didn't go right for me (late photoshoots)but still a really fun day meeting guests i wouldn't normally get to see and meeting up with people i know so that was a highlight and allways look forward to it..so thank you showmasters, good value, good staff and look forward to the next one.

yes good point about the ticked boxes on the 2 pieces of paper. The Rose leslie photos were on the table but no ticked box to say they were out and on which table , rather than confront the crowds i took it as given that i had to wait even longer until a friend came up to me later and told me my photo was ready ages ago .Who knows how long i could have saved if the info had been updated properly.Too many people doing it instead of one person sticking to that particular job.Saw 4 different people scribbling on the sheets with 'biros' !!! No wonder things get overlooked. Anyway my last comment is cut down the number of photoshoots, if a Gillian Anderson or hayden patteniere shoot is really popular then the smaller ones should be axed. 40 different shoots is too much. I know its a good moneyspinner but it causes too much hassle. Less is more. (just my opinion) or have a cut off point with the bigger stars (300 maximum)and stick to it.

No chance to get a photo with Melissa and Frank or a signature? As far as I know, no. They are doing the talk only, nothing else. as they are in the building its a great chance to ask Melissa to do a signing at showmasters events in the future. I'm sure she'd be popular, she seems like the kind of star that would enjoy it as shes so nice at premieres etc

a word of praise to the guy who was in charge of organising the queues for Photoshoot B area, don't know his name but recognise him from many other events, he got everything done timely and politey at the same time as dealing with a ton of questions from people walking past. Nice one.

my Holly combs photo was awful, all bleached out with too much lighting, and it was the only one i got back from 4 photoshoots before i left.

I walked past the entrance at about 5.30 and someone was giving details about a camera they had lost at the showmasters sales desk. The crew will have details for the person claiming it.

agreed . the system couldn't cope with the numbers. 4 photoshoots and i only got one back before i left at 5.45. all my shoots were done by the photographer by 1.30. I won't buy them again. Rest of the convention was fun though, just the photoshoot problems were a let down.

the same happened to me ages ago, showmasters sorted it on the day as long as you have printed confimation of your original order.Definately complain to the post office, they owe you compensation of some kind. I got a cheque for the value of the tickets! did take a few weeks though.

Don't like Dr Who so not going but its good news for many fans who are especially those who are fed up having to travel to london all the time. so well done for doing that.Nice to see events going to other parts of the country and the venue is a good one.

If its a new convention i hope its not london based again
