I'm guessing what they are doing is waiting for as long as possible to ascertain how many tickets Silver and above are going to be sold and then they can guesstimate how many they can release for general sale. If they have 2000 seats for opening show and 2000 tickets silver and above are sold then there won't be any for them to sell. Also they will leave until the last minute possible because the smaller amount of tickets left to go on sale the more premium they are and the more they can charge....
