  1. Kate Mulgrew's twitter handler retweeted one of my pictures. No reaction from Bakula or Stewart (send them a picture as well).
  2. Keep them coming people. It is the only way to get through the DSTL blues. I have made a Star Trek set for DSTL for easy browsing. Here Latest addition:
  3. What a nightmare. Maybe it is time to invest in a serious data recovery application?
  4. SOUND: Making use of the incredible library of Star Trek audio that CBS own the rights to and therefor could easily feed you would be a great addition. This could be used to set an atmosphere at the different segments of the exhibit or during the party! VISUALS: More and improved decoration everywhere, colour please. Use large prints and or projectors/big screens. I will most definitely go to another DSTL, but do fix the parties! I want to meet more of my fellow fans. You can not give us an "air craft hangar" with a concrete floor and expect everyone to have a blast. Compartmentalize it into different zones.
  5. Who is peering out behind Chase Masterson in this photo? Anyone?
  6. Someone made a flickr group for the entire event :) Please post here as well. http://www.flickr.com/groups/2073218@N25/
  7. Great to see all the shots here! Keep them flowing. This is from the second Kate Mulgrew talk Sunday: Here is another upload that can be found on my flickr. Will be posting there the next couple of weeks. Also did not bring my best camera. This is shot on an old and now deceased Canon 40D from 2008. Twenty frames after this shot, the shutter mechanism decided to malfunction, could not take one single picture after that. Good timing!
  8. I will be posting some of my best shots here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/nakedhand Fans and stars included. I am a fan myself and was there as such (I am a retired photographer).
  9. The parties were the only real beef I have with the organizers of this spectacular event. It was a shame because I was hoping to get to talk to a whole lot more of my fellow fans. Too many awesome people in one place, a huge opportunity missed. Here is what they needed to do (or need to do next time): Compartmentalize the huge warehouse space into different zones using fabrics, the way they created the Main Stage space! One area for the live music, another for lounging with bean bags, a "disco" type section with some tables around the edges. That should sort most issues including the horrific audio. With the incredible ticket sales in mind, this should have been affordable. It was pretty much impossible to hear Masterson sing not to mention Avery Brooks perform. The first night, at the Klingon Monster Ball the sound was so bad and loud, we had to simply leave. Maybe Showmasters thought we were all going to be heavily intoxicated teenagers in "rave mode"? Saturday was much much better. Bar prices are fine slightly elevated, but not insane like the £4.95 for an extra small beer we were offered. But of course if your goal is to avoid drunk people, mission accomplished :)
  10. I traveled from Denmark. Met quite a few dutch people to ad to your list. I miss the crowd, what a great bunch of people.
  11. Thank you for sharing. Great stuff. Good to see video with all these incredible memories.

  13. These are all currently doing conventions, which makes them plausible John De Lancie Dianna Muldaur Brent Spiner LeVar Burton Gates McFadden Robert Picardo ! My favorite character from Voyager Marc Alaimo John Billingsley Famke Jansen (not happening and not doing conventions lol) Jeffrey Combs Bob Gunton Christopher Lloyd Alice Krige Malcolm McDowell Robert O'Reilly Suzie Plakson Lursa and B'Etor in klingon outfits of course. Tony Todd Michael Dorn Denise Crosby Jonathan Frakes Michelle Forbes (not sure she is doing conventions)
  14. Now that is a classic! Gave me lots of laughs back then. Also while it is not exactly dance music Berlioz was a favorite of Picard's.
